    Default a lil help whats the difference ???

    buying a stage 2 shift kit and they reckon change the second gear servo 2 but whats the difference between a Billet 2nd gear servo to a Corvette 2nd gear servo ??

    just grab the corvette servo and team it up with a transgo shiftkit its more than capable of smashing the insides of the trans the billet is overkill and a waste of money unless you have the most serious engine with at least 300+kw.
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    "billet" means that it has been machined from a "billet" (i.e. bare block) of material....



    So, the "billet" servo is one that has been machined out of a solid block of whatever-grade steel/alloy.

    The 'corvette' servo, from the picture, looks like it has been "cast" (i.e. molten metal poured into a casting, then minimal machining done to get the mating surfaces right).

    Generally, "billet" parts are stronger than "castings" and are less prone to cracking, etc. (and of course, more expensive)

    the billet ones have more pressure force area and are another step or 2 up above the corvette servo for shift harshness
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    oops - I just assumed that the billet one was a re-manufactured item with same specs my apologies if I misled.

    you were correct it is billet alloy v's cast .i run a corvette version ide hate to see what the billet one shifts like

    billet is the ducks guts of anything automotive and if u wont power and quality it what u need then

    but if u just wanna mash gear buy a corvette
