Many have applied the M90 on the stock L36 ecotec bottom end with horrible results including blown engines(literally), the M90(designed for the L67) requires a much stronger bottom end, it's risky putting it on a stock ecotec.

The CRS on the other hand is a relatively mild blower, they are more widespread on ecotecs but don't give out as much power as the M90.

Ive been told i will need forged heads, what sort of dollars will forged heads cost and what sort of bottom end work would be required to make sure the M90 is stable without blowing up the engine?????

Not completely sure on the prices but I know alot of strenghening is to be made and even then it's not garanteed. I'm pretty sure you'd end up spending alot strenghening the L36, you'd be much better off buying a second hand L67 engine with an M90, they're great engines with lots of potential.
