VR ute center console plans?

Hi all.

I've got a VR ute, 5 speed floor shift bench seat.
The bloody thing has a swimming pool in the foot wells every time it rains, i got real tired of it so pulled seats and carpet out to find the leak. Turns out to be the door seals are rooted, got new ones coming.
While the interior is out i decided i didn't want that horrible bench seat anymore so went and bought a pair of mint Calais front seats ($50 the pair from local Holden wreckers) and will put them in as soon as the carpet's dry.

Now my problem is there will be a huge gap between the seats. I want to make a center console, don't want factory one because they don't have cup holders lol.

I want to make it so i can have my 2 10" sub's in it, up between the seats.

My question is.............does anyone have any plans (Measurements) on the building a console.
The reason i ask is, i'm a car painter / artist and me and wood don't get on lol, so don't want to go through sheets of MDF 'til i get it right.

Cant say ive ever heard of anyone building their own console, might have to make it urself m8.

Use cardboard before you start using mdf plus mdf is still cheap.
