I currently have 17" wheels with 235/45R17 tyres on my ute and was thinking about a bigger set of wheels. How much effort is it to do this and how big can I go before major modifications have to be made? I'm looking at a set of 19" wheels with 245/35R19 tyres.
Thanks
rim size isnt a problem its the with of the tread, and i tihnk 245 might just be too wide. some one can confirm possibly

I am running ve ss 18' with 235 tyres and i just's clears the strut tower and sometimes rubs on the tray side of the rear gaurds with sl springs all round
19"s with 235/40/19 will be fine, but it can also be affected by the rim offset though, genuine holden wheels are fine but when you start going aftermarket just be aware of this. but as i said 19's will be fine with 235 wide tyres.
Thanks for your help guys
