just wondering what's the logbook says is needs 2 b done for the 200,000km service on a 97 VS.
ive had a bit of a look around but i didnt notice any mention of timing belts etc
thanx guys
the logbook at that km basically tells you to replace all filters, leads and spark plugs and give the whole car a full check over.
Depending on service history id be changing all fluids as well.
Basically as 1 said, All the filters, AIR, OIL, FUEL. Plugs and leads. Depending if its a auto do a service on that too. Replace all the fluids, Coolant, Power steering, OIL, brake fluid. New raditor cap and hoses maybe?
And just check over for brake pads, rust and anything that could cause a problem.
You can get a full service kit off ebay here.

I Just got that kit and its quite a good deal. all OEM, people will tell you the leads are shit but i think they are great.
no timing belt on any commodore except VL
200,000 km service is like starting again. so all new filters as stated, than follow the 10k 20k 30k etc service again till you hit 400000km than it starts over again.
