vs auto box playing games
hey my 95 vs v6 is broken again ive replaced the motor nt to long ago now the gearbox is giving me problems im pretty sure its screwed
when driving on normal take off from the lights it reves up to about 2-2.5 thousand revs just to get to 60 and when you give it to it it just seems like it dont want to change gear when cold its twice as bad so does this mean i need a new gearbox been qouted for a new 1450 with suply and install with a new torque converter is this reasonable or does anyone know were i can get a better deal ?

What your describing can also be symptoms of a stuffed TPS
when it des change gear it really kicks in hard aswell from 1st to second
i got a error code 22 and i think that is tps low voltage

the tps is a good place to start
i just had my box rebuilt for about 1100 it's 4l60 but that was uninstalled
maybe a stuffed tps, but im thinking the clutch pack in the auto is sliping giving you the late changes and the hard shifting. Try a known good tps but i think you may be up for another trans. I just replaced mine as it was doing the same thing. After pulling the old trans down the clutch pack was well and truly gone.
