vr motor swap to a vt
i just got a vr 5 speed but the motor is ####ed and i have a vt motor but its auto can i put the vt motor in the vr with not spending 2 much money

Its not a easy task. If you have the VT engine and trans, its a start. You need the VT Loom, Computer and all the other electrics a believe. There maybe a Buick to ecotec conversion you can get for it. but would be a whole lot easier to just buy another buick engine the same as whats already in the car. this way its just remove engine, throw ya new one in and everything will just connect straight up. Be much cheaper then putting the ecotec in

Yes Yes i know that but when you mention Buick here everyone knows your talking about the VN-VR range motors, well from what everyone talks about on her anyway. And when your talking VS-VY its Ecotec.
No idea what it would cost, i would start by ringing around and see what ya options are.
