will a sedan exaust fit wagon

Can anyone tell me if a vs sedan exaust will fit a wagon. I have found one on ebay complete with extracters and the bloke said that i would have to add 8 inchs to it does this sound right.Are the tail pipes the same.

Wagon is longer then a sedan thus the exhaust will be too short. With the amount of exhaust shops out there your better off going to one of them rather then eBay.

i can get it cheap and i can do the work myself i guesed that it would be longer just not sure about the tail shaft. trying to save a $$ exaust joints charge an arm and a leg

yes it does-the 2 1/2" cat back in mine is from a wagon,as they ran out of sedan systems,they just cut out a couple of inches and rewelded,all you would have to do is the opposite-add a bit more pipe to it
