It could be a vacuum leak somewhere.Check the rubber vacuum lines around the engine and on the charcoal cannister and cannister purge solenoid for disconnections or splits, cracks etc..Also check the vacuum reserve tank under the left front guard. It looks like a black plastic ball.It should have a vacuum hose going to it,make sure its connected. Also a stuffed brake booster can cause a vacuum leak.Has the "feel" of the brakes changed recently. If so,its most likely to be a leaking booster which will cause the engine to run crook as well..

    Throttle body might be dirty?

What does the vacuum reserve tank thats located near the bumper do though? There is just a big vac line going to it and nothing else

The vacuum reserve tank is mainly there to hold vacuum so when you open up the throttle a fair way, like when overtaking, or going up a hill etc,the vacuum doesnt drop off too much, which then causes the heater settings change positions (face to floor etc).Thats why the heater settings sometimes wont work,or will change positions when you get a vacuum leak around the engine, the heater uses the engines vacuum to control its airflow control flaps and heater tap etc.Closed throttle =high manifold vacuum.1/2 throttle to full open throttle =low manifold vacuum.

cheers i was looking at that , how would it cause my problem if it was faulty?

there appears to be a similar looking thing sitting behind the throttle body i think

if its not working correctly it could cause a drop in the fuel pressure witch in turn causes starting issues etc. basically not getting enough fuel to start...

is there anything you changed recently with your car? didnt change your memcal by any chance? but if not then i would bet on not enough fuel like Super_Low 91 said. did the problem come out of nowhere or did it gradually get worse and worse over time?
