Hi,
My VS Wagon shudders on take off, more so when taking off faster, and also shudders on braking.
I have checked each of the wheels for play and there is hardly any play in the bushes/ball joints.
I went and checked the uni joints on the drive shaft for play and no play, also checked the drive shaft for excessive movement near the center bearing, pretty firm and good.
Am starting to wonder what else could be causing the rough take off. Warped rotors? Diff or Transmission? siezed calipers?
On very light take offs, you can barely feel the shuddering. On rough take offs you can feel the vibration and it dissapears as speed picks up.
The shuddering when braking, it does it more so when braking lightly, less when braking heavily.
Thanks.
Shuddering with light braking is warped rotors, just had the same thing with mine. Get the rotors skimmed and fresh pads.
Shuddering when braking could be as mentioned above or sensors. The take off could be the spark plugs and leads or the coils. Start at the spark plug end first, see if you can see any are cracked or sending really stuffed. I had a cracked spark plug and it was sending th spark up to the coils on the out side of the leads, looked pretty cool at night. To test coils all i can suggest is borrow a set you know is working and see if that fixes it.
VR and VS error codes:

VS V6 DTC/Error codes comprehensive list.
worn gearbox and engine mounts can cause a vibration under load (take off) but yeah i would start with plugs and leads, and test the coil packs with a multimeter
