Default Drove through water puddle and now car wont accel without shuttering

    hey guys

Almost all the roads here have flooded and I was driving down to the shops and came to a few puddles don't know how deep but must have been quite a bit I felt the car almost being pushed back due to the force of the water 5-10cm deep.

Any way I got to the shop and parked and noticed lots of steam coming out from under the bonnet, any way when I left I took of normally and reached a corner and it went to break traction but shuttered and wheels didn't move at all but all gear changes etc were fine once it started to move again. Then when I tapped the accelerator same thing shudder shudder and nothing, then an hour later I drove it again and it has improved a lot but still not perfect, has water gotten into a sensor or something? as I know the box is fine.

    Any input would be appreciated

Pull your leads off and give them and the plugs a blow out .

And check all the connectors on the Crank angle sensor and such. Get some contact cleaner and give them a squirt. It'll just be a bad contact. Nothing to stress over.

Yea don't worry mate. Just drive it in 3rd at 80ks for about 15mins and let it rest. It will be fine, just takes time to dry is all. My VS did exactly the same thing.
