    Default Corvette Servo Questions

I'm looking into putting a corvette servo into the 4L60E in my VR series 1, to get the firm and chirpy 1-2 shift at WOT.

I've seen a few different types on ebay. CORVETTE SERVO 700R4 4L60 4L60E E CAMARO TRANSGO: eBay Motors (item 7999899124 end time Sep-16-10 08:39:27 PDT) This following one comes with a longer pin, though at a cost CORVETTE SERVO 700R4 4L60 4L60E W/ LONGER PIN: eBay Motors (item 7999899132 end time Sep-16-10 08:39:32 PDT)

And here's a locally available one CORVETTE SERVO TH700 4L60 4L60E VN VP VR VS VT VX VY VZ - eBay Automatic Transmission, Transmission, Car, Truck Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 14-Sep-10 19:54:02 AEST) Seems that some of the parts are a different colour to the american ones

Has anyone got either of the above, or something else and how has it changed your 1-2 shifts?

Ok my first post looks quite messy after another look.

All i really need to know is whether i can keep the standard pin in the servo housing when swapping to a corvette servo, and still get the improved faster shifts?

Yeah you don't need to drop the box to change the servo.

It is much easier to do if you can get the car up on a hoist and if you have a mate to help.

This is where a mate comes in handy.

One person uses a crowbar to lever the gearbox toward the left side of the car, while the other person pulls out everything that needs to be removed from the servo hole.
