Will they bolt straight onto my VS ute or am i wasting my time to get them? They are genuine rims, have read some say yes & some say no... There is 1 of 2 answers for me.. Yes or No they will/wont fit straight on.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Yes for sure. There was a VS SV5000 sedan that had them factory.

thanks for that mate...
I've never heard of a VS sv5000 :? VN sv's yeah but not a vs.........
What about the load rating for the utes? Do these rims and tyres pass this rating?
I dont know the answers to these questions but it may be an issue to look at.
I don't know the specific specs for load ratings on the VL Walkinshaw rims but i would've thought that a rim designed & built for a high performance car would have a suitable load rating for nearly any vehicle???
wraith means the vs slr5000, they were basicly a std commodore with a spoiler, black with grey down the bottom, not a hsv.
yeah the walki bolt on. and the flying bath tub was 80 kg heavy from stock models had shit loads more down pressure. holden use mags that rate the same as their steelies so should be the same rating as 15" chasers

I'm lookin at putting some wheels on my VS Ute - anyone want to post some photo's to show what they have on their ute?
Cheers TC
The Walky rims will bolt on no problems. The VS ute has the same GVM as a passenger model so load rating shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for all the answers guys. Those that said yes they fit are spot on. Picked rims up over the weekend & go straight on no issues.
I read in another topic about them not fitting onto a VT calais & it worried me a little, i'm guessing that they wont fit on a car with IRS maybe? Must either have a larger hub face that meets the rim (as someone else mentioned the rim face that meets the hub is kind of convexed into the rim due to the lip on the back of the spokes) or the drive shaft centre is to large to fit the rim centre? Definately wouldn't go onto earlier models that still have drum brakes due to the lip on the back of the spokes as the drum itself would be to large in diamater 2 sit flush with the rim face.
Just something i wouldn't mind knowing for future reference should the question arise again![]()
