dose any one know of mains girdles for any v6's
youll most likely have to get a custom made one im building one cause its easier than trying to find one

it's astonishing how many parts that arnt avaliable for the 6's #### if some of the performance companys seen this site they would see how many ppl are modding these engines and think what are missing out on
years ago there was heaps LOL now even the yanks are getting there cranks from china for there builds

The v6's aren't pushing the power to warrant a main stud girdle, the ones that are probably have custom made ones anyways. We have never done a girdle modification to any of our V6 pan's, and I haven't seen anyone else in Aus making good Buick/Ecotec pans like ours. OP is right though, could be some money there... Might CAD a girdle up and see how it comes out...

i need a girdle as i was only going to do a mild build on this engine now ive been porting the heads ive realised ill need to rev the guts out of it n/a for any benifit so there will be some turbos purchased in the near future and ive got my eyes on some seasond forged rods from the states so it will be at the limets of a 3800 so need all the strenght i can get
check the TA performance website. TA Performance Products Inc.
they do halo girdles for the V6 buick motors as well as 4 bolt mains conversions. they are for older buick motors but may well be the same as our 3800 V6's

We could mod the sump for that quite easily. Delco, Let me know if you need a pan for your build..

would that girdle fit later v6's delcowizzard or are the old turbo buicks differnt
srry i forgot to mention why i am using turbos as they will bring the power down to the 5000 rpm range which is where i want it so valve springs dont have to be unobatinum to cope and ill be able to use standerd push rods as well so torque will be big in this build
but as i said im planing on two turbos so it's going to need the girdle
i said i was going to go n/a but the way i have ported my heads and manifold it will need the lumpyest cam around to go n/a
so turbo it is
im only going for a girdle cause im going all out if i wasnt going for over 600hp i wouldnt bother
cheers ben will be in touch i have more goodies i need first like my new valves and springs so i can get the heads finished
