Default VS V8 Timing, which mark?

    Hi all

I have searched the forum for what mark to adjust my VS V8 timing to, but Im not sure which mark is which. Everyone talks about 10 deg, but which mark is 10 Deg?

I suspect my timing is out, its one the 2nd to last mark on the left side of the A. So looking from the front of the car its on the 2nd to last mark before there is no more marks. This is when it is in diagnostic mode.

Can anyone tell me or show me an image of what mark 10 deg is.

    Cheers

Go back through the V8 development section, im sure theres somthin in there. If not PM Morton maybe. I'm sure he's been through all this recentlyish, and im sure he'd be happy to give you a quick point in the right direction.

On the timing mark on the block, in the midle of it there will be a longer line which is TDC. The "A" reffers to advanced. From memory every short stroke coming away from the centre line is 2 degrees, I'm pretty sure i found that info on here.
