    Default VR V6 Balance shaft bearing

    Hi does anyone know if i can change the balance shaft bearing in vr v6 without taking motor out Thanks

    drill a hole in the firewall..... other wise it cant be done...... the shaft has to come out the back of the engine.

    you could try packing it with l90 or similar

    the shaft comes out the front but the bearing comes out the rear via welsh plug ide just dissconnect it and forget its in there its what i allways do
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable

    i might be wrong than...... it might be the press tool that we have at work is to press the Bearing in, and its way too big to do in the car.....

    I remember reading somewhere that the buicks balance shaft can just be taken out? where the ecotec has to have a welsh plug put in its place?

    true or bullshit?

    ecotech has an oil pressure feed bearing so it needs blocked off or the shaft left in place just unconnected at the front so it doesnt spin
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
