t 56 gear box

is it possible to convert a t56 to fit a vs v6 commodore and is it worth the hassle

Would a Non Supercharged VS V6 have enough power to use the 6th gear in normal road driving situations usefully? Lots of cash to be throwing at something like that is my first thought.

Each to their own though i say it's your car not someone elses. If your happy with it, it's what matters.

I had the same thought.

6th gear is the most ridiculos overdrive ratio.

Maybe look at lowering the diff ratio to make 6th a little better.

Then the problem would be that the ratios would be too close for a low revving engine!

2. On a stock 6, no.
