Driving home from work today my car stalled twice and since then the tacho seems to jump around and it feels like there's a miss while driving. I changed the dizzy, leads and plugs not to long ago so hopefully that's not the issue. Has anyone had simular drama? Could it be a bad batch of fuel? I filled it up this morning so I'm kinda sus on that. Or maybe the fuel pump? I'm kinda stuck scratching my head. Anyone got an idea on what the problem might be?
tacho bouncing normally ignition module or sensor in dizzy if its had a NEW quality dizzy its most likely the module
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
My Old car Had a bad earth and caused the Rev counter to go up and down and got so bad all the gauges were bouncing around 0-100-50-0-30-100-20-000000000000000000000000 -100 lol
Another bloke at work had this similar issue, turned out to be his coil playing up.
Just replaced the coil still nothing. So I'll try the plugs next hopefully that will be it.
As mentioned above, big chance its the ignition module.A lot of people on here recently have posted about the ignition module failing on the 5.0 engines, and one of the symptoms before it failed completely was the tacho needle bouncing up and down, and the engine missing was another symptom.
