Hi all,
I am looking for an aftermarket ecu for my Auto, 304 v8, vs commodore.
I would like one like the haltech E6GMX that just plugs into the factory wiring harness
I cant use the haltech as apparently they will only support a manual gearbox.
Now before anyone says the stock one is very tuneable, the closest kalmaker tuner to me is about 2500k's away so is out of the question.
What is a suitable ecu for my vehicle, or what are you running in your 304 ?????
I will be fitting a stroker kit in the near future and then later on it will be supercharged and for ease of tuning i need to change the ECU.
Any help will be great
Oh , i have done an extensive search and found nothing too.
96 VS ute, L36 Auto.
Pacies, 2" catback, 18" RJR Shaddows
No more V8'S, GT35 TO GO ON SOON
Mate even if you buy a haltech, you will probably need to see someone to do a tune on it anyway,Id just buy a performance memcal or chip for your delco ECU, from one of the guys on here who modify and sell them,Delcowizzid,Greenfoam and Dr Bob.Everyone who buys one from these guys always post that their happy with them.Or you can get yourself a chip reader/burner and maybe a UV EPROM chip eraser (both are available cheap on ebay)and start learning to tune yourself using tunerpro.Download it,Its free to use..Also have a look at the delcohacking website for more info.

i have just started using the LS1 pcms on the old 5L's, they work a treat and cost the same as a mid spec after market ecu, they come complete with new harness, coil, coil lead, dizzy and modded PCM with base tune etc
