    Default quick ecotec crank question

With my supercharger kit i got a crank pulley with a bit at the front lathed off it and holes drilled for the vortec pulley to sit in front of it, my question is are the metal teeth things on the back of the crank pulley suposed to spin freely not at all or just move 10mm roughly then stop just asking this as i have no idea and it seems weird they only move 10mm or so one way then can be moved back the other way

    cheers mitch
