    Default how to make a vs louder ?

    hey guys just a quick question, how would i make my 97 vs louder with out doing any mods or spending more then 100 buks? as atm i am low on money but want mexhuast/car 2 sound louder cheers

    Save the hundred and wait. Only thing you can to to your exhaust to make it sound louder for under a hundred is damage!

    buy 2 metres of exhuast pipe and cut out the mufflers and replace with pipe lol

    Why do you want it louder?

    You clearly are not concerned with performance when all you want is 'louder'.
    I fear it is a case of 'look at me, look at me'

    My 5 year old son is going through that phase right now too.
    You will grow out of it.


    Take the $100, buy a 4" angle grinder, some cutting discs, goggles and ear plugs, then slice the bottom out of your mufflers.

    Just unbolt the exhaust from the Cat Converter.... Oh you will probably need new valves by the end of the first drive btw.
    If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

    Unbolt the exhaust where it goes over the diff, or put washers in between the flanges to hold them apart

    Try having a look at wreckers for any sports systems,i got one for my old BA XT Falcon for $80(2 1/2" Catback),bought new gaskets for $15 and fitted it myself,or save up $200-$250 for a 2 1/2" Sports system from A1 exhaust or similar.Another way would be cut the rear muffler off and throw straight pipe in,some cars sound alright,but most don't...

    Why would it? there are heat shields on the body. And the exhaust isnt that hot when it reaches the diff anyway
