Now that problems gone.Once again.
Basically i started my car earlier today and started up fine no problems.
i played around and replaced a few fuses and then went to start it and it just kept cranking until the battery died i put all the other fuses back in and tried again and nothing.
So i thought maybe the battery was low due to me listening to the radio for about 45minutes, so i started charging my battery with a 12V DC charger, this was around 4PM today its not 8PM i tried starting it before and it just keeps cranking until eventually the battery dies again.
I've used the search engine but cant find anything specifically that can help me.
Recently ive replaced the CAS, Harmonic Balancer, Fuel Pump etc, so i dont think any of them could be the culprits.
The only thing im worried about is the fact its a Dual Fuel car, and anything Gas related costs big $$$, i had a similar problem and had to replace the Gas computer set me back $550 just for the computer.
Any help would be appreciated as i get my license back this Monday, and really want to get driving as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Edit: Also ive done an error code check and got back 12 System OK.
Just now, i left my house started driving i got 2 meters down the road and the car just cut out and stopped, and now it wont even turn over or anything.
Im thinking maybe its my CAS?
Thanks once again.

To recharge a battery takes at least overnight - 12 hours - otherwise it won't be fully charged and Commodores need good cranking volts otherwise they won't start.
What fuses did you replace and why were you replacing them? Seeing as it was working earlier in the morning must mean that something you did has caused this problem....so go back over what you did....pop the bonnet and touch everything you touched before. Good Luck

I replaced the one for my electric antenna because it had been playing up, and just the ABS one, becuase i noticed they didnt have the correct Amp rating, i thought possibly the antenna could have been affected due to the different amp rating.
well hopefully i can get it going tomorrow morning then.
So its not starting. are you trying to start it on gas or petrol or did you try both?
VR and VS error codes:

VS V6 DTC/Error codes comprehensive list.
tried on both, and both doing the same thing.
I guess its not a fuel/gas problem, spark, leads, coils fine? Didnt touch any of that?

havent touched it yet, but im gonna have a look first thing tomorrow morning, already dark outside.
Recharge your battery, if not see if it will start whilst being jump started. If not pull out your engine start fuse/relay and check to see you haven't blown it. Replace if necessary.
I'm going to agree with Hako, most likely this has been caused by something you did. Unless you got really unlucky and something else failed at the same time.
Just go over everything electrical related first.
battery is charged and its not starting, i used my tester light on all of the fuses and there all good, im not sure hoow to check the bigger fuses in the fuse box.
im going to go buy a multimeter now so i can check my coils etc.
okay coils and everything are fine ive found the problem, on the fuse box the 20A Engine fuse keeps blowing so theres a fault somewhere there any ideas? ive replaced it and it starts but then it blows after about 2 or 3 starts of the engine.
Looking at a VS wiring diagram, the 20A engine fuse goes to the EFI relay which is located under the bonnet near the fuses etc,it also goes to the ECU.Id swap the EFI relay with the horn relay or similar non essential relay,it might just be faulty and causing the fuse to blow..
yeah just did that, it stopped the fuse from blowing but the car isnt starting now, i noticed the earth wire from the battery started smoking as did the fuse at one point.
so frustrating
Replace the battery earth cable. Check your alt to batt cable too.
May not be needed, but do it anyway with a thicker gauge.
heading to bunnings now to get all the replacement parts.
could it be a factor that i had my battery filled with non distilled water?
replaced earth cable, alternator cable is all good, the fuse isnt blowing anymore but the car still wont start.
im just going to go buy new leads and spark plugs tomorrow see if that helps, any other suggestions?
Least that part is sorted. As for you blowing fuses, your blowing the 20amp one, as in the small fuse group in the engine bay next to the fuse box?
yeah the 20Amp Engine fuse, its not blowing anymore it blew everytime the car started, now its not blowing and the cars not starting.
im thinking the fuel pump could have been faulty but ive hardly used it as my cars a dual fuel and its mostly been on gas.
If it won't start on gas it's not ur pump....check if the wiring from the fuse or to is good the smoke may of been it burning and now the fuse ain't blowing because the circuit is shorted else where
Did you end up swapping the EFI relay? If so,which relay did you swap it with?
i swapped it with the horns relay, and still no deal
Did swapping that stop the fuse blowing?
yeah stopped it blowing, but the cars still not starting.
Maybe try another relay like the high beam relay, just to be sure its not the other relay you swapped over."Its rare, but it has happened". Also does the engine wind over still, or is it just dead.Is there any spark from the sparkplugs.Connect your sparkplug leads (one at a time) to an old sparkplug and wind over the engine to see if there is any spark.Obviously the metal hex part of the sparkplug has to be earthed to either the engine or body for the plug to spark.
if your car is cranking over and not firing try the ignition module as i had a problem with it cranking over but not firing and it was the culprit
i switched around all relays, i just put all brand new spark plugs and leads on the car.
i found one wire that was sitting under my battery which goes around the car and comes to the coil pack, now i dont know where it actually goes. im stumped as to what is causing the problem.
heres the photos of the wire.
