VS Glove Box Broken ?

Is there a general issue with the glove boxs in VS commodores ?

Mine is broken and all the ones I saw at Pick and Pay Less were also broken

EDIT the hinge seems to be broken on both sides

The lid or the dash part?

I think its the dash part as it is only held in by the lock

Yea, seen heaps of them break. I just glued mine back together. Seems to be holding well.

Shame your not local, have another one here you could have had, bit better condition then broken lol

u need some bolts, a piece of plastic pipe and a few cable ties.
hack something together that swings on the right and holds weight on the top and youll be good.

I found this in my seach and didn`t want to start a new thread.
I findly found my rattle it is the glove box lock it`s loose and the only thing I can think of is to make shims out of a plastic milk bottle to tighten it up.
Ideas please.

have you tried other wreckers (I assume you have?)..also there is always someone trying to sell some items on the site. I would try that. I just purchased a glove box off this site

Well I when with the plastic milk bottle.
Cut out shim like the U shaped clip but it was to thick I couldn`t get the clip on.
So I cut one side off so it was a L shape the lock is tight as and no rattle.
