Central locking issue

hey guys!

Every time i press the lock button all the locks go down and centre light is turned off, but then about 1.5 seconds later they re open but the light stays off. When you open the door after this the alarm goes off unless you press the button again.

does anyone know whats wrong with it? lol

The locks are oscillating.(locking then unlocking).Some models had problems with this happening.On later models they released an adjustable door lock mechanism to fix it.Id check all the snipper buttons for binding against the door trims etc,and try locking and unlocking them manually a few times.

The lock/unlock buttons that you lift up to unlock, or push down to lock, are known as snipper buttons.

yeh i had this problem with my berlina, unlock all the doors then there's a red strip which clips open and there's a screw behind it, make sure there all tight.
