Default should i get a high flow cat?

hi all i have a 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust on my ecotec, i dont have extractors. iv just had a flowmaster 2.5 to twin 2.5 inch muffler fitted with twin 3 inch tips fitted. its got a nice sound to it. will fitting a high flow cat affect the exhaust note? (deepen it up a bit more?) and give me more kw? or is it a wast of time? car has done 230 k and im guessing its original. any input much appritiated

The stock cat flows fine. Don't change it unless it is stuffed.
