Default Will A VR Tierod fit a VN??

I have just purchased a vn and I have to pick it up this weekend. It has been in a prang and the tie rod has snaped. I have a vr at home tht I could take the tie rod off if i would fit.

So will the vr t/r fit on a vn??

I am pretty sure they are a different length. You could check part numbers for genuine and after market and see if they are the same.

Thanks for that. I only need to fix it so I can drive it out to the trailer.

Nah wont work, your front wheels will be pointing in towards each other. Its A pretty significant difference, not just a few mm

wont even fit on the rack, the threads on the tie rod are smaller then the VR.
tie rod ends are exactly the same length tho, I did this comparison today actually.

Thanks for the help. I purchased a brand new one today it was only $20. So it should be easy.
