VR/S Clubsport Sideskirts (Genuine) Too Short

hey guys

As the title says

was fitting an original clubsport kit to my VS bumpers are fine, but the side-skirts are 2 short, the part that goes to under the guard does not reach there is approx a 2cm seen a panel beater and they suggested to add fiber glass to the gap to extend it, is this normal? other wise what the hell did I do wrong, there is no way they will reach.

any advice would be appreciated.

Are you puttin sedan skirts on a Ute/Wagon?

I never seen the car they came off, however considering rear bar was a straight fit, I am assuming it was a sedan

also both sides have the same gap and I have the skirts pushed up as far as I could
