Key light stays on

that little green light where the key goes in stays on Ive stood outside the car waiting and waiting for it go off but it doesn't??

unplug the wire inside the cover for the time being so you don't get a flat battery.

Most likely a BCM

could the bcm drain the battery, theres just something funny about the electrics in this car, battery keeps draining, im not sure wheather to buy a new alternator yet

interior light switch is on,

next to the headlight switch, part of the instrument cluster dimmer. make sure the switch is in the middle position, or below.

Yeah,but the interior light switch is in the on position.

Yeah,just went out and checked my own ,when the interior light switch is in the on position,the green key light stays on,even when the vehicles locked. After I had turned the interior light switch back to the off position,the green key light goes out as soon as the car is locked.Id say because you have removed the interior light,you havent noticed the interior light switch is in the on position.
