    Lightbulb Possible bearing problem??

Well i posted last night guys trying to figure out where this "bump bump bump" noise is coming from, anyway took the car for a spin the morning trying to figure out whats making it, The noise increases with speed even with the foot off the accelerator, say at about 60 its most noticeable and goes away when i start to slow down to a stop, I also turned the steering wheel to the left while driving at steady speed and the noise "stops" then straighten the steering wheel back up and it comes back.... jacked up the left wheel this morning, spun it and there's a slight groan that comes and goes as it spins around, and i know its not brake drag because it spins freely, its gotta be the bearings surely??? its just a weird constant knock bump noise while driving.
    Cheers

Stick a tire bar (Or just a big crow bar) in the wheel and see if there is any play in the bearing

What symptoms make you suspect its a main bearing?

Take the car to a mechanic to get the hot and cold oil pressure readings checked.Cheap and easy.

Could also be tyre related as you say it stops when you turn the wheel to the left.....run your hand around the tread of the tyre and feel for any lumps or bulges as it could be a tyre delaminating.

dunno if this helps but is it coming from the back area of the car? I had some bumping noises happening last week and it was the exhaust banging against the chassis. Would only bang under acceleration.

Was just the rubber exhaust mount that the muffler connected to.

If it is the front wheel bearing, best of luck. I tried to remove my disc of the front the other day. Well with a 6LB mini sledge hammer with a towel around it (enough to stop dents and chipping) would not remove the disc.

I came across a similar problem when renewing a mates front discs. They wouldnt come off, even hitting them with a hammer and a piece of wood didnt move them.I ended up removing the 3 allen key bolts that hold the hub to the steering knuckle.Once the disc and hub was off,A couple of heavy hits with a hammer with a heavy piece of wood over the disc, and both sides came off no problem.I used some anti seizeing compound where the disc sits on the hub.Hopefully they should come off easily next time and not seize on there.

I'm pretty sure on the front discs there's 3 small threaded holes to screw in bolts to lever it off. I've never tried it though.
