Default VR not starting help would be great

my 94 VR v6 auto started fine all the time up untill this morning.
now it just turns over and over occasionally firing or when it does start, it idles very low and then stalls.
its stuck fairly far from my house and i really dont want to have to pay to get it towed :P

any help would be greatly appreciated!

could be coil pack dfi board, sounds like it's getting some fuel if it tries to fire and runs and idles for a bit then dies.

check for error codes as well might give us a clue.

Make sure the battery is fully charged as well - check the fuel filter as well and the fuel pump fuse and relay. Have you recently pressure cleaned the engine - if so, water can enter the oil pressure switch and short it out which has been known to cause your problem. (op switch is part of fuel pump circuit)
