VS Level 3 dash - resetting all values??

i have recently installed a level 3 dash in my VS, and when i go to reset the trip meter, the average L/100ks and average speed also get reset back to 0.
is this normal, or is there a way i can reset the trip meter without resetting everything else?
or have i just wired something wrong?

You should have the trip computer mode set on the "trip meter" to just reset the trip meter on it's own (keeping your avg fuel) - it flashes at you for a few seconds and if you still hold it resets all. I think thats how it works.

If you press both the mode and set buttons simultaneously, it'll reset everything. If you bring up the trip meter on the screen and press SET once, the trip meter should flash. Press SET once more and that should reset your trip meter.

yeeh thats the mistake i was makin, i was pressin em both and resetting everything. thanks mate i have it all sorted now!
