    Default oxygensensor gemuine or bosch

hey thinking of replaceing me oxygen sensors as me vs is using shit loads of fuel...16l per hundred k's when it was only useing liike 12 and under not long ago, however it only started useing more fuel wen i installed a air hog reuseable filter.

theres no error codes etc but i do know it made a noticable difference wen i replaced the air flow meter. howevver fuel is still poor

just wondering if bosch or genuine is better as theres bosch ones on ebay for 48 or genuine for 69

    cheers

genuine is acdelco which is dephi, both are good brands, bosch is another reputable brand heck they invented the o2 sensor i think so it should be good.

Ive used the guy selling the $48 ones on ebay, good product, just make sure you have a 4 wire plug.

Get a can of electronic circuit board cleaner and give the MAF meter a clean.

I'd ditch the air hog reuseable air filter as that seems to have caused the problem.

I would also refit the stock type air filter. The ones that have an oily coating can leave a residue on the Air Mass Sensor which can cause things like poor idle or increased fuel consumption.

havn't seen that before, you could give them a clean with a spray of contact or electronic circuit board cleaner first.

go for the bosch 1 and save yourself the $21 and youll be able to take the missus out for tea or spend it on yourself or even better car mods but as long as theyre the same type theyd do the same job. and bosch isnt unreliable so you cant go wrong
