V2 Vortec kit!

Im thinking of hooking up a V2 s/chager kit to my VS in the next few weeks
can any of you guys suggest any mods before fitting one!
Oh yeah can anyone tell me what the common noise coming from the front
of all 3.8 ecotecs when at standtill (noisy bearing Sound) and how to rectify it?
