I went to Cabramatta (Area with lots of Asian shops in Sydney) and bought some $1 or $2/metre fabric and some glue from bunnings, Worked well and still looks as perfect as the day I put it in the car (over a year now)... I didn't put any of that foam stuff back on ;\

Dude, I am in franger as well with the same issue.
cleaned the board, got the fabric (proper auto trim) in almost the right shade.
Australian Trim Supplies in dandenong. ($15 per metre).

PS: dont use the spray on adhesive - I was told 1 can and your done (UTTER BS... 1 can properly covers about a 5th of your board).

now looking for the paint on stuff .......

Been to three or four wreckers in southern suburbs ..... they dont bother to pull the liners usually because they end up braking them

I brought a whole new lining, board from a wrecker. if u roll the front seat foward u can slide it out the back door. sideways. its the easyest thing ive had to change. and im really really impaitent. pull all the trim off around it. pull it off the valcro. throew it out. push it up onto its velcro again. replaace surrounding trim.......done

ah i got mine in shepparton. wrecker had 30+ stacked vs's lined up in the yard without roof area damage. i scoured the cars then said i want that one...the old boy pulled it out whilei went and got a van. 40 bucks later i was home puttin it in my car.

my fave wrecker only has one (with sunroof installed) that matches mine - minus the sunroof.
might scour round the locals, but a few have said over phone they dont touch statos (coz never get parts they want).
I think the statos trim (grey velour) wasnt used in std VS Comos .... but i could be wrong
If it was, then yeah, hopefully find a few if the headliner design matches

I keep on having the same thought though ..... my stato would look even better with a sunroof hahahahaha
