Central Locking problem?

Well i know there has been many threads on central locking problems but cant find a answer to my problem.
On my Vs Statesman my front passeneger lock wont pop up so i can open the door. i took the trm off carefully with the door closed to see if i could pull the rod up to unlock the door but no luck. anyone know what i have to do to open the door so i can replace the actuator??? Thanks

Have you tried using the key in door? (you don't mention this). Maybe hotwire the actuator wires (cut them first to get them out of the circuit) to simulate the unlock action.

umm no lock on that door and the key doesnt work in the drivers door, the actuator works but it like pops up and back down again but you cant open it

i had the same problem in my vs ss had to use the key then one day it went back to working and has ever since
