    Default extractor problems !

hey guys, im currently getting my ph 5029 pacies fited that i bought off a private seller
now the problem is that the right hand side extractor is hitting the chassis slightly and the auto to the left of it, if the engine was to start and be revved its going to be rattling and hitting up hard against those points, what i dont get is, why it doesnt fit ? there for vn-vr arnt they ? that what i thought and they were off a vn so i dont get it ?
if someone could explain to me lol plus the y piece wont fit either since it hits the auto from underneath another problem for me, i was thinking of bending in the 2 points that hit, would this restrict it to the point that it would not be worth it since i have no other option

    PH 5029 - COMPETITION HEADER
    COMMODORE | VN-VP-VR | 3.8 LITRE V6
Manual & Automatic | Dual Flanged Outlets | TUNED Design

Note: Will fit variable ratio power steering.
Suitable for modified or supercharged motors.
Will not fit early VN models with cast bellhousing dust cover.

thats how they sell it on the pacemaker site, so i still dont get it, unless somehow the one i have is from a manual ? becuase mines a auto
going supercharged with comp pacies and 3inch exhuast

You don't have PH5029's. They are the competition ones and don't have a Y pipe. Chances are you have PH5019's, the manual Pacemakers. The difference is the RHS header between auto and manual.

When i changed from auto to manual i needed to get a new Y-piece made up. It actually curves over the top of the cross member

Seems strange, on the Pacemaker stuff the Y pipes are the same between auto and manual, it's just the RHS header that is different.

If it is hitting the chassis, then I'd say your engine mounts are sagged. As to why the Y pipe hits the auto, then it would be because it was fabricated to suit the manual.

Had the same problem with mine, except i had them fitted for me. After first fitting they would knock under load so took car back another 30 mins and they were fine so i think u will have to heat and bend them or get someone to fit them. Bob.
