Default Battery being drained by amps

I recently installed my sound system back into my VS and ever since then the battery is being drained, I've jumped and ran the car 3 or 4 separates times after it being drained and it's not stopping, I think the amps are constantly draining power from the battery? Anyone had a similar problem?

That's not a stupid question, I'm not surprised if I wired it incorrectly, what could I have wired wrong to make it drain the battery?

I did the exact same thing. All it is, is the wiring. I think mine was the deck to the amp, i connected it to the wrong wire from the back of the deck.

the only thing it could be would be the remote wire

or your head unit is f*cked and not picking up the remote wire

    sorry, what??

do you know what purpose a capacitor has?
it holds a small amount of power, to even out the power spikes when there is a high current draw (ie. bass).
it is not a second battery.

Id be checking that the glovebox light switch hasnt been disturbed somehow when you had the stereo out.It might be stuck and not switching off the light.

I'm in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, I appreciate it but I'm sure I can fix it myself, I checked the glove box light before and it was turning off fine, I've re-checked the amp remote wire again and it all looks fine.

I really don't know what else it could be.

Ok I will try that, I disconnected my power cord from my battery and left it overnight and the battery did not get drained, so it definitely is my amps/subs.
