Fuel Guage

Hey all,

Im sure other cars do this but I want to make sure that this is normal.

Say if i have between the 1/2 - half on my guage and i drive normally, it stays pretty much the same but when i boot it, it goes under a quarter then goes back up.. is it just because its sucking in all this fuel or?

Sender unit is going up and down inside the tank as the fuel washes to the back of the tank and then settles again.
