Hey people,
Just thought i'd start a thread and keep track of my own project and see if anyone else is interested and maybe it could help someone else down the track.
Recently i brought a VS series 2 s pac commodore with a few bits and pieces added to it. It was in pretty good condition apart from the rear bar having some paint missing and interior having some cigarette burns.
Although im not a man who cares incredibly about asthetics, i do like a neat, clean straight bodied car. Not a fan of wings and out of place bodykits. I just love power.
Annnnnyway, i was on an unfamiliar road and came over a crest and saw a nice little right angle left turn with an incredible amount of loose gravel, even with a decent pair of ceramic braked and slotted/drilled discs i came straight off the road and into a big pole which gave my car an awesome one of a kind chassis, front bar and bonnet.
It's going to cost WAY too much to re-align the rails so i've opted to take all mu goodies, 3.8 ecotec, T5 hydraulic 5 speed, brake and suspension set-up, K&N cold air induction, extractors and exhaust (Have recipts for everything that's been done but didn't want to waste space naming it all but can if asked) and chuck it all into a rolling shell and slowly get her up and going.
So far i haven't found a series 2 rolling shell that's in any decent conidition (know of any?)
Plans further down the track, and by further down the track i mean straight after i get her back is a 69mm throttle body from mace, a memcal and 12mm plenum.
Looking into a cam kit but don't know a terrible amount about them. Any ideas?????????
Any feedback on what i should do or what i shouldn't do would be great.
Anyone know of a straight VS S2 shell?
Around newcastle but willing to travel a bit!
