Hi all i have been doing alot of work on my 97 Holden VS Berlina lately to get it back on the road and i just wanna find out how much it would cost to do a roadworthy? and were is the cheapest place in east melbourne?
hi mate
i recently got a roadworthy for my car now they can range between $75-$95 depending on the mechanic.. to mention a cheap one, i am unable to say as i havent been to every single one to see how much it is
Roughly $75- $95 for a check as the above poster stated, give a few places a ring for a quote. They'll look your car over and tell you what needs to be done, if anything to get the car fully roadworthy. Then you have the option of doing the work yourself, or having the roadworthy joint fix it up for you, the former option being cheaper. Should the car fail the first roadworthy, you have about a week to get the car sorted so you can get a 2nd roadworthy check at a lower price, around $40. Any longer than a week and youll pay the full price for a recheck.
