    Default vs commodore problem

    i have a holden vs commodore VS II

    today was going for a drive, put the right indercator on its flashing, fast so i got out of the car and had a look and there flashing fast out side, no sure what the problem is, i checked fuse's, hazard lights work, fine not fast, its only when i put the right hand side ones on

    If they flash fast it usually means a bulb has blown, or someone has replaced the bulb with a lower wattage one - check the front,side and rear bulbs on the side they flash fast.

    model is a 1996 , i checked side bulb, and rear bulb are both working, only the side indi and rear indi do, both flash fast dosent look like any are out, i no previous owner replaced them with a crystal bulb or something we have owned the car for a while and havent had any problems, right side only, left are fine

    i will check in the monring all the bulbs i checked one on side of car(side guard), and behind da car, i will keep u posted guys. ill go check in the morning and replace any if broken if not i will post here

    just checked car than front blinker appears to be out, i poped the hood but was unable to get the blinker light out, any idea how to get these basteds out its tight and has orange plug i cant get out

    If you have the owners handbook you may find instructions (with pictures) in there.

    Its anticlockwise or left,when looking at the car from back on.Its clockwise or right if looking from the front of the car.I looked in the gregorys VS workshop manual first up, and it said they turn anticlockwise.When I just went out and looked at mine,thats what I found.You would think the gregorys would have it from the front perspective of the car.Not from the rear,as you stand at the front of the car looking back when doing jobs like this.

    thanks everyone for ya help, new bulb is in and she is running fine, was going to replace the other side but its a tight fit, this bulb was that old the paint on the bulb was so pealing and cracked, and glass was so easy breakable
