would there be someone out there that could possibly give me answer,can i replace my diff head for a lsd with a standard diff ratio which i think is 3:08,i am running a 6speed box with a hydratrac with a 3.45:1 want to replace it?

it makes a loud wine when you take off in first gear,i presume its the diff

Is there any noise before you put the lsd? if not, chances are you did not put correctly ( clearance between the crown and pinion called backlash) or did you put new bearing on lsd carrier or did the lsd been reconditioned?

if u got irs then the noise might be your rear cv joints
