    Default shift light on a standard taco?

    i was just wondering if theres any way you can wire up a shift light to a standard tacho and set what revs the light comes on?? cheers!

    ..... lol thats pretty creative... but still? and if you cant wheres a good place to mount an aftermarket one so it looks tidy???

    I have seen a few of them using the stock in car tachometer

    I also seen one where a guy had an led installed in the cluster just next to the tacho which lit up around 5200rpm which I think is peak power on an Ecotec V6

    I have no idea how he had it wired but used the same idea as a NSX

    i did this on mine.



    3 led's in the cluster, that light up when shift point reached. adjustable as well.

    what are they wired to? is it something along the lines of that shift light module earlier in the thread?? (post 6)

    ok i thought u mayve had something like that... altho there would be nearly no point doing it to an auto lol and especially not with what im doing. (low rev stuff)
