    Default Wont start after supercharger conversion , please help !!!!!!!!!!

    hi guys i recently got my vr supercharged,
    got 36ib injectors brand new on
    got pacemaker extractor and 3 inch exhuast on
    the mechanic had extended the wiring to the coil pack to relocate
    and when they tried to start it on apparently turns over starts but wont stay on
    so im guessing its the ecu shutting the car off
    the injectors are pulsing so its not them, im thinking maybe a blown fuse for fuel pump ??
    if anyone has any idea let me know please

    is ur computer tuned for the injectors?

    also ill add they removed my gas tank setup, and i think they somehow left it on gas, it was already disconnected since my engine rebuild but i remember accidentally bumping the switch that changes the car from petrol to gas and it did the exact thing it would turn on and then the car would shut down, now since they removed the wiring and all i reckon they may have done something like that and left it on gas, i told the mechanic 30 mins ago im going to call him soon and see if i was right because he hasnt been able to start it for a whole day now, they check fuel pump crank angle sensors and all that other stuff and their stumped and soo am i

    Can you shed a bit more light on what setup you have

    What type of blower, is it new or second hand, how much of the tuning/fuel system was supplied

    It is intercooled?

    Do you have the 2 BAR map sensor

    etc etc

    Could it be something to do with the Airflow sensor on the intake? That was giving me a hard time when i turbo'd my VT, car used to stall when the revs went over 2thou

    i bought a second hand powerdyne supercharger
    came with the braket, pipe with bosch blow off valve, 9 psi pulley, belt
    ordered the crank pulley, didnt come with any tuning or fuel pump if thats what you were asking raptor
    2 bar map sensor its the stock ecu with a declo tune in that is going to be updated as i have a new one for this setup on the way
    not intercooled yet

    the mechanic believes its something to do with my tune as the car turns on but turns off straight after

    im not sure they did check many things such as crank angle sensor and relays etc.. ill ask to see if they checked the airflow senor aswell
    but mines stalls straight after it turns on

    Did they tune it? If its still factory CPU it has a supercharger setting doesnt it?

    its eather drowning with the 36lb injectors or something to do with the gas my guess is the injectors fit the old ones will soon tell you

    they said they completely got rid off the gas and re done the wiring/relay ?

    injectors fit the old one ? im lost delco

    nah they didnt tune it mate has a old tune from delco that was for N/A, and he said he wouldnt expect it to run with the 36IB injectors on
    but im getting a new tune off him which i hope will fix it all up, its just the waiting game thats killing me man, havent driven in more than 3 weeks its hard lol

    update.. ive been told the car has been monitored by a computer to see whats happening, and apparently after start up the ecu cuts of the coil packs and the car shuts down, my mech wants to try the stock tune in the car and see if that works but odes anyone have any idea how else i can get it running until i receive my new tune from delco

    It should run but very rich and without stopping with the 36lb injectors, I think you have something else wrong, however to try what your mechanic suggests is a good idea

    You make no mention of fitting a 2 BAR MAP sensor yet you are getting a supercharged tune, I think you better get a second opinion on that before something goes very wrong

    To get this right you need the following items

    36 lb injectors (you have)
    2 BAR MAR sensor (you don't have)
    A memcal with tune to suit 2BAR map sensor (you don't have)
    Raptor Superchargers - Boosting S1/S2 3800's, Ecotec's and Alloytec's

    i thought the ecu in my car would be able to handle 2 bars ? were can i get a 2 bar map sensor

    ok im totally lost, maybe i misunderstood the mechanic but im 100% sure he said from the monitoring they can see the coil packs shut off after start and the car turns off aswell, but i cant see why that would happen, they tried another coil pack aswell same issue, maybe the loom they extended to the coil packs could be causing this issue ??

    could be if theres no earth on the pack it wont run

    ive been assured that they have been bolted onto metal as i asked my mech, they were relocated possibly could be the problem i'll have a chat to him tommorow

    myself ide fit the stock injectors and drive it home if it goes can fit the bigger injectors when you get the tune its easy.if they fit the injectors and it doesnt go well its there problem

    ok so if i chuck the stock injectors back on it'll run ? i think ill be able to handle putting the bigger injectors later on

    and while im at it should i get a 3 bar map sensnor for when i might boost over 14psi ?

    get a 2bar its good for 14.7 psi its all you need

    ok thanks delco will do, ill get it from autobarn, i dont want to wait another week to get it on
    ill let you guys know how it all goes on monday and thanks for all the advice guys
