    15W-40 or 20W-50.

Use the search button next time mate in the top right corner, as others have said 15w40 or a 20w40 will be fine

easiest answer, read the owners book and stick to the factory spec, buy as cheap or expensive oil as you want it's upto you. But more expensive the better obviously, stick to the 2 top brands and you wont go wrong, castrol and mobil

This is the point at which "what oil type" threads go bad, as soon as someone mentions a brand name, someone else will jump up and call those ones crap and suggest another one and so on and so forth.
(honestly the amount of FAKE shit im hearing about penrite starving oil galleries at the moment...)

There's nothing wrong with any of the brand name oils in Australia at the moment. Just dont use a home brand cheapo oil.

Nothing wrong with penrite or any other oils, the only reason i say mobil is because it doesn't matter what brand you buy you are buying mobil as they make the worlds base oil stock for all manufacturers, chevron is also the other large one. My dad runs whatevers cheapest at kmart in is pulsar, sometimes penrite, since new, now has 310,000km on his car... but i havn't looked inside the engine lol

At the end of the day each to his own.

That seems a bit to thin for an older car.
