    Default Exhaust tip.

    Hey all.
I currently own a VR Berlina which has a 2.5' inch straight pipe supercat exhaust system and I am considering getting a tip to complement it. I would just like everyone's opinion on what would be good with the car.
I'm leaning towards a Chrome dump tip.
    What are peoples thoughts?

    Cheers.

Yes twin would be good but I'm not the biggest fan anymore of the use of a twin on a single pipe plus it's a hell of a lot more expensive. Still the single would look nice. Any other suggestions people?

chrome would decay after a while because it's coated or painted, stainless steel is just that.

Alright did a bit more searching; Calibre Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip - Dump Pipe, 3.5" looks alright. As I have a 2.5' pipe is a hard fit or still the same?

as long as it tapers back to 2.5" from 3.5" then it'l go on, but a straight 3.5" dump pipe obviously wont fit a 2.5" pipe.

Don't go bigger then the exhaust size that's like getting a cannon that goes from 1 3/4 inlet to 3 inch outlet. Personally I think twin 2.5 inch straight cuts look the business. Dumpy's are so over done.

Yea thought so, there just doesn't seem to be many stainless steel dump tips let alone ones which go back to fit the 2.5' pipe.

I have 3" with twin 2 1/4 mild steel straight cut tip. Looks dirty and pretty cool imo.

I think a twin 'love heart' exhaust tip would really set your vr off.
Plus the added hp gain is a bonus

i prefer just a simple 2 1/2'' straight cut chrome tip i used to have twin 3'' dumpys on my old vr but prefer the single tip these days.

As already stated, i would go with a big meaty oval stainless tip, twin 2.5" stainless or dumpies
