VS rumbling and loss of power, help!

Last night me and a mate were driving my 95 VS wagon and it all of a sudden started rumbling loudly and lost a lot of power. It feels like it is a problem to do with the exhaust but to be honest im not really sure. We gave it a rest and then turned it back on and it was fine for about 5 minutes then went back to this rumbling it was doing before. The car has lost a lot of acceleration and power.
Need help please!!

Check for error codes, check all fluids etc etc gonna need to narrow it down more
