I am wondering if there is a difference in shocks for v6 & v8 & also for live axle or IRS?

can get hold of some shocks from a vp V6 live axle - will these be ok for my VS V8 stato IRS

    cheers in advance.

I wouldnt go fitting second hand shocks. They could be worse than the ones you remove. You can get cheap new ones to use until you can get some decent ones.Ive seen them at supercheap for $50 to $60 a pair.Ive no idea what they would be like though, they would have to be better than old ones though. They probably just dont last very long being cheapies.Probably get 12 months out of em.Also I dont know for sure, but from what Ive seen, the IRS and live axle shocks are the same.

got some gabriel ultras from supercheap for 55 each and they have the normal gabriel's for 45 each i think , live axle ones wont fit they are the same but the bolt hole at the bottom of the shock is a smaller diameter on the live axle one
