Default radius rod bush, need spacer etc??

hey i orderd these and expected to arrive next week but was wondering wat else would i need as wouldnt i need a new nut and washer as the original one is different and wont work with these? or are they a dirrect fit?

Whiteline PLUS Commodore Radius Rod Bush Kit.. REAR (eBay item 290448429554 end time Oct-15-10 10:55:15 EST)

    also sum addvice on bushes

atm i have neoprene strut mounts and link pins, im pgradeing the radius rod bushs to whiteline PLUS. the only buses that are staying rubber is teh lower control are pivot bush, wold it be worth upgragadeing to a polutherane bush? or just leave it? it has been changed about 30-40 000kl ago with genuine rubber. i chnged it myselfe so i know how much of a prick it is to do lol

    cheers

I would leave the lower control arm pivot bushes as they are. Your not going to gain anything by changing near new bushes out for urethane ones. Beside alot of place will tell you to leave the control arm bushes as rubber & change everything else to urethane. For the radius rod bushes you will need to re use the big nut & washer. Have you got bushes for both end of the radius rods ? As the ones in the lower control arm might as well be done at the same time.

    Cheers

the kit you bought is the radius rod to control arm kit, you reuse the original washers and nut, as for the lower control arm bush you would have at least another 40000kms till it needs replacing.

cheers guys, i mite be wrong but i thorght that the nut that is used in teh control arm for teh radious rod has like a seated bit, if that makes sence, like the original nut wen tightened goes in half way into the control arm around the bush? and with these ones i dont think it does?

i cant find a diagram of wat im trying to say though haha

As already stated... what you ahve got is the "Rear Radius Rod to Lower control arm/Z centre bar bush" and they do need changing every 100,000k's or so.

I would be looking ate the Front radius rod bushes(If they are stock) more so as they are filled with oil and collapse when you heavy brake.(Very coomon...) and the top strut bushes(common as well...)

Superpro/Nolathane/whiteline is the way to go... my personal pref is Superpro as I have tried them all, in all my rides and seems to give the better ride quality while the others are quite harsh.

if you look at the pic you posted of the whiteline bush there is 2 big ones and 2 small ones and a 2 crush tubes, the bigger bush pushes into the frt of the ctrl arm and the little bush pushes into the rr of the ctrl arm and the crush tube pushes into the frt bush and is made shorter than the full length of the 2 bushes so that your nut with the sleve on it that goes into the original bush mates up with the crush tube, i hope this makes sense it sounded better in my mind. if you go to whiteline+ website and search for the part number some where on the page there should be a pdf instruction sheet which should give you a better idea. these bushes are the same bushes as pedders and nolathane just black.
