i have a vs statesman ecotec v6 which is idling rough when the engine is running and stationary at lights but when driving the engine runs perfect its starting rough as well and when you rev it hard it sounds like it misses then revs if that makes sense i have had it at a mechanic ive replaced most stuff like fuel rails, o2 sensors, injectors, spark plugs, ecu and memcal i have dodgey wires from my ecu they have cut and shut my o2 wires so dunno if its the issue i am pretty stumped so are the guys at the shop any help would be great
First start with the very easy stuff. There is a pipe under the throttle body that goes between the intake pipes to behind the engine. Make sure it is still attached and has no air leaks.

ty for the help i will check that when i have some spare time
Also check for any logged error codes.---Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)---
if you got a multimeter check your leads too
check the oxygen sensor which is normally just under the manifold, they do get dirty and generally play up at low revs. You can buy new ones for next to nothing.
Are you saying you don't have O2 sensors? Because that would explain your problem or part of it.
Fuel reg check that aswell
i have changed leads and also all my o2 sensors i have had a test and no faults were found i thought it was the crank angle sensor but that is fine too. vr acclaim are you refering to fuel regulator? cheers for all the help
havent had extractors on it have you
nah but thinking about getting some soon just need to get some stuff fixed first
take the throttle body off and give the iac stepper motor a clean, see how that goes, might be rooted... have you checked the earth leads? might be loose.. or coil pack might be on way out... check plugs and leads for breakdown..
